Randy (a.k.a. Rail, Monki, probably some other names I've forgotten) was one of the "old school" mtad regulars who was around on the forums way before I was, and he also dropped by the IRC channel pretty frequently. He was dealt a pretty crappy hand by life in general but somehow always seemed pleasantly positive. Sadly, he ended up doing a tour of duty with the US Army in Iraq and was killed at the age of 31.

This picture was my contribution to the "12 Days of Monki" tribute that a bunch of us did. I'd provide a link, but I don't know if anyone actually collected it all together and put it online. I also recall that it suffered from the typical group project problem of a couple of people not finishing their pieces, so I don't know if it was ever even completed.

Anyway, perhaps I was trying to be a bit overly clever here, but this was supposed to be a play on the fact that he'd fairly recently done some Alice In Wonderland inspired pictures, along with the fact that he was a soldier who enjoyed making art, and with a smattering of busty bunnygirl goodness thrown in for good measure. I like to think he would have approved, although I suppose he probably would have preferred my original idea of just going entirely with the bunnygirl part and forgoing the rest.
